// POTTY STEADY

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 20, 2026

Potty Steady is a parent-facing potty-training coaching app made by Pro eMarketing LLC. This policy describes what the app does — and deliberately does not do — with your information.

The short version

Everything you log stays on your device. Potty Steady has no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking. The one exception is the optional Ask Coach chat: messages you type there are sent to our server to generate a reply, are never stored by us, and are never linked to you.

Data stored on your device

Potty Steady stores the information you enter — your child's first name, optional birth date, routine times, potty-training events you log, sticker chart entries, and caregiver names — in a local database on your iPhone.

  • This data never leaves your device. There is no server and no cloud sync.
  • Deleting the app deletes this data.
  • We (the developer) have no access to it at any time.

In-app purchase

The current version of Potty Steady is completely free, with no in-app purchases and no purchase infrastructure running in the app. If a paid unlock ships in a future version, it will be processed by Apple through the App Store and, on our side, by RevenueCat (a purchase infrastructure provider). To validate a purchase, RevenueCat would process a random app-generated identifier and purchase receipt information from Apple — not linked to your identity, your child's information, or anything you log in the app. This policy and the App Store privacy label will be updated before any such feature ships.

Ask Coach (AI chat)

Ask Coach is an optional feature. When you send a message, the following is transmitted to our server, which forwards it to Anthropic (the AI provider) to generate the reply:

  • The messages you typed in that conversation
  • Non-identifying context the app adds so the reply fits your situation: your child's approximate age, the current program day, counts of today's logged events, and the comfort object name if you entered one. Your child's name is never sent.
  • A random identifier created when the app was installed, used only to enforce fair-use limits. It is not derived from your device or identity.

What we do NOT do:

  • We do not store your messages. Our server processes them to get the reply and keeps only anonymous token counts for capacity planning.
  • We do not use your messages for advertising, profiling, or training.
  • Anthropic processes messages to provide the reply under its commercial terms (inputs are not used to train models; see anthropic.com/legal/privacy).

If you never open Ask Coach, nothing ever leaves your device. Ask Coach is guidance for parents — it does not provide medical advice.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled locally on your device at times you choose. They are not sent from a server, and notification content never leaves your phone.

Children's privacy

Potty Steady is designed for and directed at parents and caregivers — adults. The app records information about a child that a parent chooses to enter, but that information stays on the parent's device and is never collected, transmitted, or shared. The app contains no child-directed content, no ads, and no social features.

Your choices

  • You can delete any logged event in the app.
  • Deleting the app removes all locally stored data.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices ever change (for example, an optional cloud backup feature or a paid unlock), this policy will be updated before that feature ships, and the App Store privacy label will be updated to match.
